Power exists in the simple shared experiences which help to create more depth and connection in our conversations.
Listening to music with your kids on the way to school or on the way to practice can help you create a shared experience because you can ask questions based on the song you listened to.
If you listened to the song ”Grateful” you might ask: What are you grateful for right now?
Another shared experience might be creating storytime before bed or listening to a song together when they wake up in the morning. You and your kids can interact meaningfully by listening and responding to each other.
These conversations can enable you and your kids to be at your best.
Here’s a link to the custom song “Family” I co-wrote with the Amuchastegui family.
Make it an amazing day!
